Timber door craftsmanship by KILT in a Cape Town home

About

From one broken pane to a whole building.

A Cape Town workshop with years of hands-on knowledge and one simple rule: no job too small, and none too big.

KILT started the way a lot of good things do, by fixing what was broken. A cracked pane here, a rusted steel frame there. These days we design, make and install windows and doors for whole buildings, and that same care still turns up on every job, big or small.

We work in steel, aluminium, timber and glass, out of our workshop at Millennium Business Park in Parow. Steel is our roots and still what we are best known for, those slim, strong frames you cannot get any other way. We restore heritage windows and doors worth keeping, glaze anything from a single pane to a full building, and we build for the coast, where salt air and wind decide what lasts. We keep it personal, so you deal with the people who actually make the thing, and who make a plan when a job does not go to script.
